The BBC highlights CADEP findings in an article about Paraguayan meat
The boom of meat production and exports in our country has reached the news at BBC World. On Thursday, it has published an article about this topic, making references to an interview with Belén Servín, who is a member researcher at CADEP.
The article brings up an analysis of the causes of this phenomenon, highlighting the fact that Paraguay has surpassed Argentina’s levels of exports, thus standing ninth in the ranking of the major world exporters.
Servín, who has a master in Economics from Mexico, tells that since 2003, investments in the livestock sector have increased significantly, explaining the qualitative jump in production in recent years.
